We offer a range of taster lessons so you (or your child) can get a feel for our teaching style and facilities before signing up for regular lessons.
Group Taster Lessons
Group tasters are completely free, aimed at beginners and are a great way to experience our classes in a relaxed and supportive environment.
After the taster lesson, the group lessons are one hour a week (that we are open) and cost only £89.38 pro rata monthly, with payments made money in advance.
Please note one taster per person is allowed.

Private One-to-one Taster Lessons for Keys/Piano, Music Production or Music Theory
If you’d prefer a more personalised experience, we also offer private one-to-one taster lessons for both children and adults. These are available for a non-refundable fee of £20, as they closely reflect the delivery of our regular private lessons.
If you choose to continue after your private taster, ongoing private lessons are 30 minutes a week (that we are open) and the cost is £128.12 pro rata monthly payment, with payments made monthly in advance.

You will enjoy our keyboard courses as we help students acquire a broad range of musical skills and this means you can function in a wide range of musical situations. The key skills covered in the course include keyboard-style and piano-style techniques, solo and ensemble playing, arranging, improvising, music notation, theory, and practical aural skills.
We offer a fully accredited examination syllabus based on the materials for both keyboard courses, is available, designed and delivered in partnership with Trinity College London Trinity Examination Board

Music Gym boasts the Yamaha The Play For Keeps Keyboard lessons ( age 7 and up ) course and the junior Play For Keeps Keyboard course (for age 6/7 years old). This Yamaha course has been designed to help you learn keyboard skills in a fun and creative environment. All in our custom equipped keyboard studio.

Play for Keeps is a keyboard course for 7 years and upwards and is an exciting popular music-based course. It is designed for the beginner to progress in easy stages.!

Play for Keeps lessons are “LIVE” group lessons – we do not use headphones – each pupil gets their own pukka Yamaha keyboard to play in during the lesson!
The course material for Play for Keeps supports music at Key Stage 2 and 3 and GCSE and “A” level and includes lots of music suitable for all tastes in music arranged in modern styles. Play for Keeps course material is fully accredited with Trinity College of Music Examination Syllabus and we teach Piano skills too.
