The Yamaha Drum Encounters course is for anyone interested in playing the drums.

Drum Encounters is a fun and innovative way to learn and play drums, designed to take the you to an advanced level. From age 7 and up Drum Encounters is ideal for those seriously considering a musical career and also for those who just want to relieve stress that’s built up over the day!

Taught in groups of up to 8 students, Drum Encounters offers a unique way to learn. Nothing matches the exhilaration of eight people drumming simultaneously! The course combines the best elements of traditional one-on-one drum lessons with a creative, modern approach, resulting in unrivaled quality of teaching. As a member of Drum Encounters, you’ll learn to play in a state of the art Yamaha drum studio, using the best Yamaha drums and practice pads. For those who don’t have a kit at home, Drum Encounters will be the highlight of the week! It’ll give you all the skills you need to bring the beat to your band!

Who can take part?

  • Children from 7 years upwards, teenagers and adults
  • Beginners to experienced

Our Drum Lessons are designed to teach you all the necessary tools required to become a complete player.Whether you want to Tour The World or play for fun Music Gym will help you attain your goals in our teaching studios.

We offer Group and Individual Lessons on Monday, Thursday  and Saturday every week. More days coming call for details

Music Gym offers a FREE Taster Lesson on Drums for 5 to 12 years olds FREE taster lesson in our new music teaching studio.There is absolutely no obligation to take up lessons. The taster lessons will be held at the MUSIC GYM- Cedars Youth & Community Centre, Chicheley Road, Harrow, HA3 6QH
The Music Gym will contact you to arrange the lesson time.
This is on a first come first served basis so please return the slip by Friday 2nd May to avoid disappointment.

Music Gym offers fun, interactive Lessons packed full of learning but taught in a fresh & innovative way. The lessons fully supports music in the national curriculum, providing a full musical education and foundation using specially trained and enhanced CRB checked teachers. Accredited by Trinity College / Rock school, students who wish to, can take exams from grade 1 to grade 8. From grade 6 and above successful examination results count towards UCAS entry points.
